GetUp! ABC Safe? Don't B2 SureBy using a somewhat comical yet confronting image, they have tried to gain attention for their concerns and elevate the issue on to the Public Agenda.

This ad is designed to get people talking both at a societal level, and especially at a media level.

Placing ads in newspapers to raise awareness of public agenda issues is becoming more and more common.

And as we head towards a Federal election, it is safe to say there is plenty more of this to come, especially as lobbyists and organisations know that newspapers, set the daily news agenda across all channels.
