Former News Corp Australia group sales director Fiorella Di Santo has joined Bauer Media as director of sales, filling the role vacated by her former News colleague Tony Kendall.
Mr Kendall left Bauer late last year to become chief executive of APN News & Media’s Australian Radio Network, following an extensive career in sales and management at News Corp Australia.
Ms Di Santo, a former board member of The Newspaper Works, resigned from News last March after 20 years at the publisher.
Bauer Media executive board member Andreas Schoo said in statement that Ms Di Santo had a deep understanding of the market, and a track record of delivering results for clients.
Ms Di Santo said: “I am delighted to be joining Bauer Media. I’m thrilled to be given the opportunity to work with such exceptional brands and the talented team at Bauer at an interesting and engaging time in media.”
Bauer also announced the appointment of Jaclyn Clements as Victorian sales director. Ms Clements is currently managing director of the Victorian office of media buying agency Maxus.
