Newspaper media keeps it young

Gen Z and Y prefer mobiles to tablets, with Gen X most likely to read news media on a mobile. Gen X has the highest percentage of computer readership (62%) and are equally likely to use a tablet or mobile (25% vs 24%).

Boomers have the second highest percentage of computer readers (60%), and prefer tablets to mobiles (14% vs 7%).

Almost half of pre-Boomers use a computer (48%), while mobile readership is almost non-existent (1%).
