Entries for News Corp Australia’s Cannes Young Lions program, a competition that showcases the best content from young advertising and marketing professionals from across the country, will be open from Monday, March 2, until Thursday, April 9.
The winners will go on to represent Australia in Cannes, exhibiting their work to a global audience.
The competition is conducted across media, marketing, film, print and digital categories.
In the print category, entrants must submit a fully-designed print ad as an example of their campaign idea, in response to a brief.
Finalists then will be given a second brief, from which they will have to prepare a new campaign ad within 24 hours.
The winning team will be announced on May 28.
The entries are judged a number of factors, including whether there is an overarching idea, how innovative and creative the concept is and how difficult it was to execute.
Winners will receive return flights to Nice in France, as well as accommodation in Cannes, courtesy of News Corp Australia.
