Fairfax Media is encouraging creatives to take part in its Rich Media Design Competition, allowing them to experiment with its new media advertising formats.
The Studio at Fairfax, a creative service team that supports agencies and brands, is running the competition from December 11 to January 19, challenging creatives and techs to design a mobile ad display interscroller.
“We want to encourage the industry to dig deep and experiment with us to showcase the possibilities that will be available to brands and agencies,” said Chris Breen, Head of the Studio.
Participants have full control in experimenting with the publisher’s new ad format, which offers advertisers premium inventory at scale and combines immersive and rich media experiences for brands.
The winner will receive a $30,000 digital media package, as well as their work displayed across Fairfax’s premium news network, and an all-expenses paid trip to attend the ATX Spring Festival in Austin, Texas.
