Fairfax Media has named former Foxtel executive Robyn Elliott as its new chief information officer.
Ms Elliott served in the same role at Foxtel for more than a decade, and was the pay TV provider’s information technology director in the late 1990s.
Ms Elliott also has been a CIO at Merrill Lynch in Australia. Before that, she worked for the Accenture consulting firm.
She will commence her new role on March 23, when current CIO Andrew Lam-Po-Tang leaves.
“I am excited to have the opportunity to lead the next wave of technology innovation for Fairfax Media,” Ms Elliott said.
“I look forward to … using technology and data to drive even deeper levels of customer engagement and process improvement.”
