News Corp Australia’s long-serving group sales director Fiorella Di Santo will leave the company at the end of the week.
The company’s chief executive Julian Clarke confirmed Ms Di Santo’s resignation in an internal note to staff.
“I want to particularly acknowledge Fiorella’s contribution over her 20 years with News, and I can personally bear testimony to her commitment and loyalty in what I consider to be one of the most demanding positions in the company,” Mr Clarke said.
“Fiorella leaves being held in the highest regard by her colleagues, and we certainly wish her well for the future.”
Ms Di Santo had also been serving as a director on the board of The Newspaper Works.
Group marketing director Damian Eales will assume Ms Di Santo’s responsibilities until a replacement can be found.
