Newspaper media readers’ interest in news and commentary goes beyond the printed page. They’re more likely to be involved in blogging, as writers and as readers, than non-newspaper consumers.

Newspaper readers top bloggers

One in six (16%) have contributed or commented on a blog over a four-week period, of whom 20 percent did so using a mobile device.

Readers of digital newspaper content were more active, with half of that audience saying they read a blog on a smartphone.
