Press manufacturer Manroland has reported strong performance in 2015, in a healthy sign for the print industry.
Manroland web systems have brought in more than €100m of sales since the beginning of the year, and Manroland Sheetfed has sold more than 200 units in the last three months.
The company said sales came from “many different countries.”
Between 2012 and 2014 Manroland sold €50m worth of web presses in Australia and New Zealand, although none of their sales this year have been from the region.
The company’s market share climbed 36 per cent in 2014.
“Manroland web systems and Manroland Sheetfed have both experienced a resurgence in new press orders,” the company said in a statement.
Many Lithoman and Rotoman commercial presses, including three 96-page Lithoman press lines are destined for 10 different countries.
“The newspaper presses share in the success story, with the Colorman e:line, Uniset and Cromoman presses to be installed in eight different countries, the statement said.
There also have been multiple orders for digital inkjet presses and Manroland web system FoldLine and FormerLine finishing solutions.
