Breaking news stories from the following day’s newspapers and key issues will be a focus of a new television program on Sky News, the network acquired last year by News Corp Australia.
Heads Up with Chris Kenny will preview the following day’s newspapers and discuss major issues.
The show will be headed by Mr Kenny, an associate editor of The Australian, with guest panellists that include News columnists Rita Panahi, Miranda Devine, Tim Blair and The Australian’s cartoonist Bill Leak. It will air in a late night timeslot on Sky News Live.
News Corp Australasia executive chairman Michael Miller vowed when the company acquired the network to “commit more resources on content, talent and quality journalism at Sky, ushering in a new era of investment.”
