NZME chief executive Jane Hastings and Huffington Post brand strategy head Lauri Baker have been added to the line-up of international speakers at the Future Forum, hosted by The Newspaper Works, in September.

The two industry leaders will join WPP founder and chief executive Sir Martin Sorrell and News Corp head of digital strategy Raju Narisetti on the list of speakers.

Ms Baker, vice president of brand strategy and sales at The Huffington Post, will talk on content marketing, and explain The Huff Post’s success in this medium.

Ms Hastings will discuss NZME’s progress in merging its three media businesses into one integrated media company. The merger will bring together the New Zealand Herald, The Radio Network, and GrabOne into one building. NZME rebranded from APN New Zealand last year.

The Future Forum will be held at the Hilton in Sydney on Thursday, September 10 and Friday, September 11, and will bring together newspaper media executives and delegates from around the world for masterclasses, a program of high-profile speakers and industry awards.

Sir Martin Sorell will appear at the Future Forum via video link.
