Gallery: How Australia’s front pages said YES!

Australian’s have had their say on same-sex marriage, with 61.5 per cent of voters in favour of changes to the Marriage Act to allow same-sex couples to wed.

The historic vote was reflected on the front pages of newspapers around the country, with “YES” emblazoned in rainbow text, and happy couples embracing and celebrating.

The Herald Sun and The Courier-Mail in later editions combined the postal survey results with with Socceroos 3-1 win against Honduras, which secured the national team a World Cup finals berth in Moscow – a second Yes for Australia.
