The new role for Carat’s former national head of product is designed to ensure strategic consistency and alignment across the company’s national network, as well as globally.
Carat’s national head of marketing Adriana Colaneri has been appointed chief marketing officer, reflecting the “enormous impact” she has made throughout her 10 years with Carat.
CEO of Carat ANZ Simon Ryan said he was pleased to bolster Carat’s executive leadership team with “such fine, high performing talent”.
“This team has been built to not only support leadership and specialist divisions in each state, but to also add rigor and bench-strength at a senior level, ensuring our clients are properly serviced in this ever-changing convergent media landscape,” he said.
Other executive changes within Carat ANZ include the appointment of Sarah James, former head of digital and the “driving force behind Carat’s 100 per cent digital vision for 2020”, as chief digital officer.
Ashley Earnshaw, Carat Sydney’s current head of trading, will also join the agency’s national executive team in the position of chief investment officer.
Mr Earnshaw’s new role is part of an increased emphasis on alignment of client investment priorities across Carat’s five offices, with a clear national investment agenda.
In 2015 Carat attracted more than $115 million in new business and was named B&T Magazine’s 2015 Media Agency of the Year.
