The new magazine includes health tips, a motoring section and a men’s fashion section. Home cooking pages with material from chef Philip Johnson are also part of the new Qweekend.

“The new design is an updated look for Queensland’s favourite Saturday magazine, keeping the best of what we’ve been doing for 10 years and including new content to delight our readers,” Courier-Mail editor Christopher Dore said in a statement.

Qweekend editor Kylie Lang described the new look as “energetic, engaging and accessible.”

“It builds on the best of what we already do as well as giving readers more of the lifestyle content they’ve told us they … want.”
