Finalists announced for 2019 INMA Global Media Awards 

The finalists have now been announced for the 2019 INMA Global Media Awards, highlighting the incredible work done by news media brands over the last year.  

NewsMediaWorks would like to congratulate all of our members who received shortlistings and wish them the very best of luck.  

 

News Corp Australia performed strongly, with twelve campaigns shortlisted for various awards:  

  • News Xtend: Digital iQ & Sales Bootcampshortlisted for Best Use of New Technology to Generate Revenue and Engage
     
  • One Queensland, focusing on state mastheads, shortlisted for Best New Paid Content or Subscription Initiative and for Best New Corporate Innovation Initiative
     
  • True Crime Australiashortlisted for Best New Paid Content or Subscription Initiative
     
  • News Corp $1 Million Business Boostershortlisted for Best Idea to Grow Advertising Sales or Retain Advertising Clients
     

 

And from Nine’s Australian Community Media there were three projects up for accolades:  

  • Pink Up Your Town, raising awareness and funds for the McGrath Foundation (breast cancer), shortlisted  for Best Public Relations or Community Service Campaign
     
  • Pennytel telecommunication brand launch, shortlisted for Best Launch of a Brand or Product to Create An Audience Segment
     
  • MAC Half H, creating awareness around wearing seatbelts in South Australia, shortlisted for Best Execution of Print Advertising 

 

NZME received two shortlistings: 

  • #NotForSaleshortlisted for Best Use of Video and Best Public Relations or Community Service Campaign
     

Stuff Media NZ performed very well, too: 

And Singapore Press Holdings received significant attention:  

 

NewsMediaWorks itself was shortlisted for an award, namely in the Best Use of Consumer Research for global/national brands for our AdTrust3 research.  

We look forward to reporting on the results of the awards, which will be announced in May 2019 in New York.
