Goodwin announced as INFORM Summit keynote

Industry-leading Zenith US executive vice president and head of innovation, Tom Goodwin, will headline the 2018 INFORM News Media Summit at the Hilton, Sydney on Friday 14, September.

Mr Goodwin, author of the book Digital Darwinism, was voted the number one voice in marketing by LinkedIn, with his profile garnering more than 570,000 followers on the platform. An industry provocateur and commentator on the future of marketing and business, Goodwin is a columnist for The Guardian, TechCrunch and Forbes and frequent contributor to the World Economic Forum, GQ, Ad Age, Wired, Ad Week, Inc, Quartz and Digiday.

Guest speaker Vanessa Clifford is chief executive of Newsworks, the marketing body for the UK’s national news brands in all their forms, that works with advertisers and agencies to help them harness the influence and context of the national press to deliver effective campaigns in a multiplatform world.

She has worked in the media and marketing industry for more than 25 years in a variety of roles rising from a media trainee working on Farleys and Wrigley to working on the client side at British Rail as head of media and marketing in the year running up to its privatisation, before returning to media agencies.

Jarrod Dicker is an entrepreneurial technology and media executive. He is currently the chief executive officer of Po.et, a platform for a new decentralized media economy.

Prior to Po.et, Mr Dicker served as innovation chief at The Washington Post and founded RED, the Post’s research experimentation and development team. There he oversaw the company’s technology, product, operations and strategy across the entire business.
