The new role will see Mr Delany responsible for content, product, production, strategy and integrated commercialisation across all of News DNA’s digital assets. These assets include news.com.au, DNA’s women’s network, all of the company’s mastheads, and various other digital properties.
Mr Delany, who will report to chief digital officer Nicole Sheffield, has already started looking ahead.

“The next stage of News DNA will build on our defined framework of operations across product, production, digital marketing, integrated sales and content.”
Mr Delany joined News in September 2012 as general manager of news.com.au before being promoted in November 2015 to managing director of the site, with the added responsibility of managing the digital strategy of NewsLifeMedia, including product development, commercial growth, digital partnerships and new digital assets.
Before joining the company, Mr Delany spent 10 years at Foxtel growing The Weather Channel.
