The 36-page magazine ‘Summer Time’ will be distributed to venues across the Sydney CBD and in NewsLocal papers Mosman Daily, Manly Daily, Wentworth Courier and Inner West Courier from next week.
Summer Time will feature food, lifestyle and fashion content and has two separate editions:
Newslocal general manager Tamara Oppen said research demonstrates 75 per cent of the group’s readers in the eastern and northern suburbs are affluent and love luxury brands and experiences.
“We created Summer Time to satisfy this need we could see wasn’t currently being met by any other publication in these areas,” she said.
“Summer Time will be the first of a series of custom published magazines offering luxury brands an inspiring and relevant environment to reach this highly sought after audience.”
Anita Quigley, editor of Summer Time and managing editor of NewsLocal, said Summer Time will feature “fascinating insights into beautiful people and places, a bit of sport and a touch of politics from some of News Corp’s best writers”.
A Summer Time website will be launched December 13 and feature videos, digital replica editions and an interactive ‘tappy’ feature that allows readers to explore the best events, products and eateries in Sydney over the summer.
