The handy booklet prepared by The NewsMediaWorks director of advertising regulation provides an easy-to-read summation of the industry codes, and guiding principles and important pieces of legislation that impact on advertising.

It covers some of the main provisions of the Australian Consumer Law, along with basic provisions of the legislation covering specific sectors, such as motor dealers, real estate, the health sector and employment.

There is also general information on the requirements for the advertising of  copyright protection and the area of anti-discrimination along section especially for classifieds.
