Mr Irving will lead the company’s UnrulyX programmatic product, driving awareness within the market.
He moves to Unruly from AMNET, providing programmatic training and guidance to tier one clients and helping them to develop alternate revenue streams. Prior to this, Mr Irving spent a year-and-a-half at Fairfax Media leading its video advertising portfolio.
“As the industry continues to be automated, I think Unruly is doing a great job at challenging how we think about creative distribution and audience segmentation across video and I am looking forward to working with agencies and advertisers on that journey,” Mr Irving said.
Unruly is a News Corp-owned video marketplace that works with advertisers to ensure their data is shown in premium, brand safe environments.
Mr Irving will start his role immediately, based out of the company’s Sydney office.
